Gary Oldman to star in thriller 'The Bayou'Oscar winner Gary Oldman has joined forces with ‘Maze Runner’ star Dylan O’Brien for a new crime thriller set in New Orleans called ‘The Bayou’
The Bayou will tell the story of a young street soldier who must choose between his mentor, working for the crime syndicate who has taken care of him, and a 15-year-old runaway girl they have enslaved.
The young street soldier will be portrayed by equally young Dylan O'Brien, and his mentor will be played by the Oscar-winning actor Gary Oldman.
Gary Fleder is directing the movie. He is known for his big screen titles such as Kiss the Girls (1997), Runaway Jury (2003), The Express (2008) and most recently Homefront (2013).
The script is written by W. Peter Iliff, famous for his 1990s action/thrillers such as Point Break (1991), Patriot Games (1992) and Varsity Blues (1999).
