The movie is about drug war on the US-Mexico border that has escalated as the cartels have begun trafficking terrorist across the US border. To fight the war, federal agent Matt Graver re-teams with the moody Alejandro.
Alejandro is once again portrayed by Benicio Del Toro, and Josh Brolin reprises his role of Matt Graver.
Isabela Moner, Catherine Keener, Matthew Modine, and Jeffrey Donovan co-star in this action crime movie.
The original movie Sicario was released in 2015, with Del Toro, Brolin and Emily Blunt in leading roles. It was directed by Denis Villeneuve.
Sicario: Day of the Soldado (2018) will hit the theaters on June 29.
