Actor David Oyelowo speaks about suffering, while filming his new movie 'Gringo'

Actor David Oyelowo has shared how he suffered a horrible bout of food poisoning when shooting scenes for the new movie ‘Gringo’ in Mexico.

David Oyelowo is the 41-year-old actor from Oxford, England, that is known for many television and movie roles such as Five Days (2007), Selma (2014), The Lion Guard (2017-2018), The Cloverfield Paradox (2018).

He is also a very successful voice actor, known by many fans for his work on the animated series Star Wars: Rebels (2014-2018).

Oyelowo's latest big screen effort is the feature film Gringo (2018), directed by Nash Edgerton and written by Anthony Tambakis and Matthew Stone.

Nash Edgerton is Jeol Edgerton's brother, and Joel is playing in Gringo (2018) as well, alongside other great actresses and actors such as Charlize Theron, Thandie Newton, Bashir Salahuddin and Amanda Seyfried.

Gringo (2018) is a dark comedy mixed with white-knuckle action and dramatic intrigue that explores the battle of survival for businessman Harold Soyinka, when he finds himself crossing the line from law-abiding citizen to wanted criminal.
