Charlie Day says he was happy working on 'Pacific Rim Uprising'

American science fiction action film, Pacific Rim Uprising sees Jake Pentecost, son of Stacker Pentecost, reunite with Mako Mori to lead a new generation of Jaeger pilots against a new Kaiju threat.

Charlie Day became famous as one of the gang from the hit television comedy series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (2005-2019).

Day also appeared in various popular big screen titles such as Horrible Bosses (2011), Pacific Rim (2013), Vacation (2015), The Hollars (2016) and I Love You, Daddy (2017).

His latest effort is just released silver screen sci-fi/action Pacific Rim Uprising (2018). Day is reprising his role of Dr. Newton Geiszler, from the first part of the movie.

Pacific Rim Uprising (2018) follows the story from Guillermo del Toro's monster-movie Pacific Rim (2013), about humanity's last chance to fight off big sea monsters - Kaiju. Humans developed special kind of weapons for that cause - Jaegers. Jaegers are big, powerful robots that can make every monster parish.

Directed and written by Steven S. DeKnight, Pacific Rim Uprising (2018) has many famous actresses and actors in it: Cailee Spaeny, Tian jing, Adria Arjona, Scott Eastwood, John Boyega...

Pacific Rim Uprising (2018) premiered on March 23, so you can watch it in your local cinema.
