Wiig appeared in more than 90 silver and little screen projects, and for many of them she was nominated for various awards. Some of those awards she has won, such as Behind the Voice Actors Award for The Looney Tunes Show (2011), Gold Derby Award for Saturday Night Live, IGN Summer Movie Awards for Bridesmaids (2011) and many more.
Kristen Wiig's latest effort is satire about the modern man - Downsizing (2017). Wiig is starring opposite Matt Damon, Christoph Waltz, Hong Chau and Udo Kier. Alexander Payne directed the movie, and wrote the script, with screenwriter Jim Taylor.
Wiig already gave us enough proof that she can be an exquisite screenwriter, working on the screenplay for Bridesmaids (2011).
Now, Wiig will try to be behind the camera, as she is preparing her directorial feature film debut. On this project, Wiig will have a little bit of help from her Bridesmaids (2011) colleague Annie Mumolo.
