Rapper Machine Gun Kelly turning to actingRapper Machine Gun Kelly has been tapped to head back to the big screen, playing the drummer of the rock group Motley Crue in Netflix's adaptation of the band's biography 'The Dirt'.
Colson Baker or Machine Gun Kelly is the 27-year-old rapper from Cleveland, Ohio, that is known for his albums Lace Up (2012), General Admission (2015) and Bloom (2017).
This young musician is also trying his best to have a successful acting career. Machine Gun Kelly has starred already in 5 feature movies and one TV series: Beyond the Lights (2014), The Land (2016), Nerve (2016), Viral (2016) and Roadies (2016).
Kelly will appear in three upcoming movies: Captive State (2018), Bird Box and Netflix's The Dirt.
Directed by Jeff Tremaine and written by Rich Wilkes, Tom Kapinos and Amanda Adelson, The Dirt is based on the book by Motley Crue band members. The Dirt tells the story of how Motley Crue came to be one of the most notorious rock 'n roll bands in history.
Kelly will portray Tommy Lee, and Douglas Booth will play Nikki Sixx. The rest of the cast is unknown yet, but we will keep you posted!
