An even race for the Best Actor Oscar

The 90th Academy Awards are weeks away, so let's find out who'll be competing for the coveted Best Actor trophies this year.

If you are not excited about the upcoming 90th Academy Awards show, we just don't know what is making you go up in the morning!

The whole Oscars 2018 will be held at Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, LA, on March 4, 2018.

The race for the best actor award is a very unpredictable one, because every nominated actor is just great in his role.

Let's start from the youngest of them all - Timothee Chalamet, who is nominated for his performance in romance/drama Call Me by Your Name (2017).

Every movie with Daniel Day-Lewis in it can rely on at least one Oscar nomination, and Paul Thomas Anderson's Phantom Thread (2017) is no different. Day-Lewis is nominated for the Best Actor award, and the movie has another 5 Oscar nominations!

Another youngster who is nominated for this prestigious award is Daniel Kaluuya, for Get Out (2017).

And for the end, we have a couple of old school players - Denzel Washington who is nominated for Roman J. Israel, Esq. (2017) and Gary Oldman who is nominated for his portrayal of Winston Churchill in the Darkest Hour (2017).
