Red Carpet Event: The Pan African Film Festival 2018

The 26th annual Pan African Film Festival has just kicked off in Los Angeles. The opening movie was the romantic comedy 'Love Jacked', and the film's cast and crew spoke about how much the festival means to them, and to the swell of black stories now being told on the big screen.

The Pan African Film Festival started in Burkina Faso in 1985, but the first official festival was organized in Los Angeles, by actor Danny Glover, Ja'net Dubois and Ayuko Babu.

The festival is concentrated on popularizing African themes and film-workers that are of the African origin.

The Pan African Film Festival is a non-profit corporation in Los Angeles, California. It is currently called the largest black film festival in the United States.

This year, we will have a chance to enjoy many movies promoting black culture, on the 26th PAFF.
