Reese Witherspoon organizes all-girl filmmaking camp

Reese Witherspoon is planning to join forces with her 'A Wrinkle in Time' director Ava DuVernay to lead a summer camp for aspiring female filmmakers. The 'Legally Blonde' actress has become a top producer in recent years, working behind the scenes on Oscar-nominated movies 'Gone Girl' and 'Wild', in which she also starred, as well as Emmy and Golden Globe-winning TV drama series 'Big Little Lies'.

Reese Witherspoon is unstoppable in her efforts to empower women all around the world.

Just last week, she paired with famous designer and fashion guru Elizabeth Arden. The two launched new lipstick line, that resembles the one that suffragettes wore on the Fifth Avenue march, in 1912.

This time, Witherspoon teamed up with the movie director Ava DuVernay, to make a filmmaking camp just for female movie enthusiasts.

Witherspoon and DuVernay are in a middle of the promotion of their big screen collaboration A Wrinkle in Time (2018).

It is a movie based on the novel by Madeleine L'Engle's teen books. A Wrinkle in Time (2018) has been written by Jennifer Lee and Jeff Stockwell.

A Winkle in Time (2018) tells the story about a girl named Meg. After the disappearance of her scientist father, three peculiar beings send Meg, her brother and her friend to space in order to find him.

Meg is played by young Storm Reid, and the rest of the cast is made out of famous names such as Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine, Zach Galifianakis, Michael Pena...
